Dating as an introverted woman has its own unique challenges.
You might feel clueless about how to flirt. Perhaps, you’re also self-conscious about your quiet nature, believing that only bubbly extroverted women get the guys.
Your thoughts run wild
Even though you’re quiet on the outside, your mind is anything but. Dating becomes a mental version of Cirque du Soleil. Your thoughts do flips, bouncing from one imaginary scenario to the next.
Your fantasies, expectations, judgments, and fears run wild. Meanwhile, you feel completely frozen on the outside. I know exactly what you’re going through, dearest.
Can quiet be sexy?
I spent most of my teens and early twenties feeling like an unattractive wallflower, who never gets the guy. The irony is that I’ve always known that men found me attractive on the outside, but something about my personality seemed to deter them. I was too quiet, too closed off, too awkward.
Knowing that I was pretty on the outside, but seemingly had an ugly personality really hurt. Thankfully, I realized that my bad luck with men had nothing to do with my quietness or my introversion.
