I am very much an introvert. I have went through life being misunderstood and being a pleaser felt I had to explain everything. With having adhd drifting away is my needed internet vacation. I am so happy I found your site. Thank you, Thank you, thank you!!! π
I meant internal vacation
LOL I was wondering what an internet vacation was!
You’re welcome Kelli. I’m glad you found my site, too! π
This list rings true. I saw a job posting today that asked for an ‘extroverted personality’. I think the writer of that posting would benefit from reading this synopsis of introvert awesomeness.
Thanks, Vivek. Indeed, so many employers advertise that they are looking for “extroverts”. I hope we see less and less of that as people begin to understand to power of introverts. π
great infograph,I can relate to this alot
Thanks, Lu. π
Hi Michaela i am a 54 year old male introvert and its like your site came straight from Heaven. i have felt for most of my life like i had to explain myself but your site has helped in liberating me.
thank you
So glad to hear that, Marion. I hope you continue to feel more liberated to love who you are. π
I’m very thankful that I found this site. Maybe I finally figured out what am I and where I belong. Thank you Michaela! π Now I know that are whole family is made of introverts. I’m normal and I don’t need fixing. It gets clearer to me every time I drop by here. Can you help me out here? you see, our teachers would usually notice only the extroverts. π I wanna stand out to but I don’t think I can overcome their overflowing energy. π
Hi Emmy, I’m happy my site is helping you accept yourself and your introversion. I know what you mean about teachers only noticing extroverts. Perhaps you could talk to your teachers before or after class when there aren’t other overwhelming personalities around?
Thanks Michaela for this Blog content..
You’re welcome, Yadu! π
I’m very happy that I found this site and now I know I am introvert .
I’m happy you found us, too, Jeff! π
Hi Michaela. I’m 40 and all this time I always feel that I’ m weird . But now I know I am an awesome introvert. Thanks to you I get to know myself better.
That last one is so true we are very good listeners but we also like to be heard, which seems to be one aspect that is very seldom returned.
I have spent a lot of time being made fun of and being misunderstood, because I was an INFP, thus being thought weak because I looked at the world in a totally different way from others. I was more connected with nature and had almost a ridiculous amount of insight for my age. But your blog helped me realize that being introverted is a gift and I feel really empowered. Thank you SO much, Michaela.
being an introvert i think introverts are most alone people..
great site
